Polk Road Indigo Bunting

I ventured out on my trusty bicycle Winnipeg today. The clouds were like bumbling floating monsters and the wind bellowed and the sun radiated happiness.
On Polk I saw a flash of blue and heard a pretty song. For ten minutes I followed a male Indigo Bunting up and down the road to get glimpses and shots of him.

He was elusive but the pictures turned out better than I had hoped. This was the first male Indigo Bunting I've ever seen. I've never geeked out over a bird as much as I did today.

Additional Scenery:

Roadside honey bee
